ENG 232 Children's Literature

The course looks at a wide variety of children's literature to understand the ways it reflects a child's world and inner conflicts, as well as contemporary cultural attitudes. Explores such genres as traditional and oral literature (fairy tales and folk tales), modern fantasy, realistic fiction, historical fiction and poetry. Fulfills literature requirement for AA degree.
