ENG 210 Medieval Literature Honors

In this honors literature seminar, students will investigate the ways in which medieval European literature portrays both monstrosity and heroism in order to interrogate the binary of “good” versus “evil.” Readings in literary history and criticism will be used to supplement discussion of the course texts. Students will deliver presentations to the class, engage in original research, and write several essays, including at least one research paper.
