ENG 204 American Literary Tradition II

The period from the Civil War to the 21st century is explored with emphasis on regionalism, literary realism and naturalism, women's voices, modernism and work of African, Latino/a, and Asian-American writers. Includes such writers as Twain, James, Jewett, Chesnutt, Bonnin, Crane, Chopin, Cather, Hurston, Faulkner, Eliot, Sexton, Plath, Song, Rios. Fulfills literature requirement for AA degree.
