CRJ 227 Community Policing

This course explores the basic concept of community policing which creates a structure where the community and the police can work together. This concept creates a real reflection of how our society is today and demonstrates that a collaborative response to public safety issues is imperative. Crime prevention and problem solving are stressed and a look at case studies where community policing has been implemented is reviewed.
