CHM 202 Organic Chemistry II

Organic Chemistry II (CHM 202) is the continuation course of Organic Chemistry I (CHM 201) for students who intend to major in chemistry or related fields of study requiring a minimum of one year of organic chemistry. Topics covered include the study of structure and reactivity of aromatic compounds, unsaturated conjugated systems, and carboxylic acid derivatives, as well as examination of the nucleaphilic addition to the carbonyl group, nucleophyllic acyl substitution, carbonyl condensation reactions, and carbonyl alpha substitution reactions.
