BUS 108 Workplace Communication

This course is designed to introduce students to the basics of workplace communications: writing, listening, reading and speaking. The topics include planning, organizing, and writing various business documents including electronic communications. A concise review of the contemporary principles of grammar, punctuation, and style will be covered. Understanding diversity and global business communications, researching, evaluating, and using Internet information, developing and using visual/graphic aids, and preparation of employment documents and interviewing skills will be explored. Meets business elective requirements for business students.
