BIO 207 Microbiology

The study of the structure and function of microorganisms. Areas of emphasis will include: microbial morphology and nomenclature; growth and reproduction; enzymology; cellular bioenergetics; biochemical activities; clinical microbiology encompassing microbial control, immunology and disease processes.

Prerequisite

BIO 105, BIO 106, and CHM 101 or CHM or BIO 110, BIO 111 and CHM 101 or CHM 105 (all courses must have a grade of "C" or higher)
