ASL 101 American Sign Language I

American Sign Language I is the first semester of a one-year course designed for students who have no prior knowledge of American Sign Language. ASL 101 focuses on ASL grammar, core vocabulary, deaf culture and basic communication/conversational skills. Students will participate in group projects, interactive activities and videotaping.
