ACC 104 Principles of Accounting II Honors

This course continues the study of financial accounting and introduces managerial accounting. It focuses on the relationship between accounting principles and financial and managerial reporting. Topics include accounting for partnerships, corporations, current and contingent liabilities, time-value of money, financial analysis, and preparation of the Cash Flow Statement. Managerial accounting focuses on topics in manufacturing cost accounting and budget analysis. An independent project will be completed.

Prerequisite

ACC 101 or ACC 103 and Admission into the M/TS Honors Program or permission of the Department Chair
