GER 102 Elementary German II

This course includes the second half of a one-year course in the German language, including an introduction to the Austrian, German and Swiss cultures. In addition to conversational and written German, the course content includes a complete overview of German grammar. In GER 102, the use of Austrian and Bavarian dialects for oral comprehension is covered as well as continued study of German, Austrian and Swiss cultures. This course is designed for the beginning student, but is also open to those who have had some previous study of German and need review to raise their competence in the language to the intermediate level.
