Why Study English as a Second Language?

English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction is for those students who want to pursue an American college degree or for those who wish to learn English for personal or professional reasons. Courses in ESL encompass a comprehensive study of the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and of the many elements involved in second language acquisition.

Related disciplines include English.
