HIM 0280 Coding for Medical Records I

This course introduces the history of medical coding and coding principles and presents an overview of procedures using the Physician's Current Procedure Terminology (CPT) coding nomenclature and the International Classification of Diseases, 9th edition, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM) statistical classification system used in physicians' offices, hospitals and other medical facilities.
