EMS 1119L Emergency Medical Technology Laboratory

This course offers an introduction to the skills and attitudes required in emergency medical care situations. Skills are taught in conjunction with the Department of Transportation/Emergency Medical Technician course Guidelines. Emergency procedures for life-threatening problems are taught, practiced and supervised in the simulated clinical laboratory setting. Comprehensive skills examinations must be successfully completed at the end of the course.
