Emergency Medical Technician-Applied Technology Diploma

Application and Admission Requirements

1. Completed PHSC application and application fee
2. Official high school transcript indicating graduation and receipt of standard high school diploma, or an official transcript of GED scores indicating receipt of a high school equivalency diploma
3. Official transcript from each U.S. college and university attended other than PHSC
4. Copy of PHSC-American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center CPR certification, "Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers." (Expiration date must extend through program completion.) Due the first day of class.
5. Complete HSC 2531 - Medical Terminology with a grade of "C" or higher
6. Students must meet with an advisor to register for EMT courses. All three courses must be taken at the same campus.
