PUBH 206 Public Health Practice in Los Angeles County

Students will conduct a hands-on internship in Los Angeles County, supervised by the course instructor and in collaboration with a community partner, government agency, community clinic, or public health focused non-profit organization. The internship requires 8-hours each week. The topic of the course is flexible and to be determined by the course instructor. It may be repeated once for credit and does not fulfill a Public Health minor elective requirement.  Graded on Credit/No Credit basis only.

Credits

This is a 2-unit course that may be taken twice. It should not count as an elective because it is credit for service hours and there is not a link with curricular outcomes.
