ECON 201 Sustainability Lab

This class will introduce students to a variety of different frameworks for measuring, tracking, assessing, and rating sustainability using Occidental College as our laboratory.  The class will work with sustainability data used for sustainability initiatives like: the Real Food Challenge, The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education’s (AASHE) STARS framework,  and the Second Nature Internal Carbon Pricing Higher Education Toolkit.  During the class students will have the opportunity to become a U.S. Green Building Council certified LEED Associate.
