WRD 395 Theory and Pedagogy of Writing

An exploration of the theory and practice of writing instruction, this class emphasizes rhetorical strategies, audience expectations, and forms of academic discourse. This course also provides new advisers with an introduction to tutoring practices and strategies through Writing Center scholarship. Permission of instructor required.This class is only for Peer Writing Advisers working in Writing Center. May be repeated once for credit.
