PHIL 232 Philosophy of Religion

This course will draw on philosophy, literature, and film in order to address some of the central topics in philosophy of religion. The questions that the course will address include: Does God exist? What is faith, and when, if ever, is it rational? Do we survive our bodily deaths, and if not, should we fear death? The course will also consider implications of answers to these questions for the meaning and value of our lives.
