MUSA 204 Jazz & Commercial Piano (One Hour)

Beginning to advanced instruction in improvisation, contemporary harmony, and reading lead sheets. Recommended for aspiring producers, composers, arrangers, and jazz or commercial keyboardists as a follow-up to MUSC 109. Private applied music lessons are one unit each (whether the duration of the lessons is one-half hour or one hour per week), excepting cases where students are receiving an ensemble scholarship, whereupon they receive 0 units. Private applied study carries a fee of $375 for half-hour lessons or $750 for one-hour lessons.
