MATH 210 Discrete Mathematics

The language of sets and logic, including propositional and predicate calculus. Formal and informal proofs using truth tables, formal rules of inference, and mathematical induction. Congruences and modular arithmetic. Elementary counting techniques.  Abstract relations including equivalence relations and orders.
