GEO 315 Sedimentary Geology

Study of the processes of sedimentation, the properties of sedimentary rocks, and the use of stratified sedimentary sequences for correlation, dating, and interpretation of depositional environments and geologic history. Course includes field trips to classic localities throughout Southern California. One three-hour laboratory per week.
