Appeal

A student who has been placed on financial aid disqualification may appeal by submitting a written appeal to the Financial Aid Director. The written appeal must explain in detail and document the circumstances that impacted the student’s academic performance. The student must describe what has changed and what he/she is doing to improve their academic performance. Students appealing the maximum timeframe must explain the reason for reaching the maximum number of credits allowed and include a Plan of Study (POS) of remaining courses and date of anticipated graduation.

If the appeal is denied, the student has the right to schedule an appeal in person or via conference call (if not on campus) to the Financial Aid Committee. The action of the Committee will be final.
