ENGL 320 Advanced Grammar

A basic introduction to the history and structure of the English language.  Attention is given to the development of modern English from its roots in Old English (Anglo-Saxon) and Middle English. Students will have the opportunity to analyze and critique modern grammar as it is understood in its modern context, with consideration given to the context of the Secondary English Classroom.
