COMM 290S Communication Practicum

Communication Practicum can be taken for 1-3 SH, with 20 hours of designated practical experience required for each credit taken.  The student must consult with their advisor, who will then refer the student to the appropriate supervisor in an area of the student’s interest, i.e. speech, radio, promotions, journalism, or theatre.  The supervisors in each of these areas should make available to student and advisor a list of activities and descriptions that the supervisor will oversee each semester.  If no activity is available in a particular area, the student can opt to complete the practicum in another area without having to do a course change. Course may be repeated for up to 3SH.
