Registering for Classes
All registration is dependent upon course availability and sufficiency of enrollment. All first-time freshmen must attend a special freshman registration appointment after they have completed their immunization requirement and taken the CUNY Assessment Tests. Freshmen attend an orientation immediately preceding the semester when they will begin their studies. The date, time and location of orientation are available from the online academic calendar (http://www.jjay.cuny.edu/academic-calendar) or by contacting the Vice President for Student Affairs at 212.237.8100.
