Department Overview
The Political Science Department seeks to educate, explain, and generate an appreciation of the centrality of politics and the complexity of the world with intellectual rigor and compassion and to promote local, state, national, and international engagement in our students and faculty. We prepare students to pursue a variety of careers in politics and public service, as well as graduate studies in international studies, law, public affairs, and political science.
