TEC 401 Action Photography

This course will focus on the unique world of sports and action photography. Students will learn how to capture action/sports photography images by choosing appropriate equipment (camera, lenses, and tripods/monopods), calculating correct ISO, aperture, and shutter speed, and selecting the appropriate file formats to produce an image that could be submitted for publication consideration.  Students will learn how to anticipate action and use that knowledge to create a collection of photos that tell a story. Photo Mechanic will be used for selecting and captioning images to be exported into Photoshop for the final cropping and editing.
