THEA 120 Introduction to Technical Theater

In this course we introduce students to many of the different areas of theater production with a primary focus on scenic construction, also including drafting, lighting equipment, rigging practices and special effects. The course includes a laboratory through which techniques taught in class are applied. The laboratory averages 36 hours over the semester with laboratory schedules to be arranged with the instructor. Students are required to purchase some materials for this course.
