PHIL 330 Law and Morality

This course is an examination of the relationship between law and morality. It is organized around three questions: (1) What is law, and what is the relationship between law, morality, and democracy?, (2) Is there a moral obligation to obey the law?, (3) Can we morally enforce the law, that is, is punishment morally justifiable?
