PHIL 199 Practical Ethics: Case-Based Reasoning

This course will be an introduction to case-based reasoning in practical ethics and political philosophy. Students will learn basic philosophical tools for analyzing the moral or ethical dimensions of practical problems, with an emphasis on medical or health related cases and policy. Heavy emphasis will be placed on speaking and critical thinking. May be repeated once for credit. Graded on a CR/NC basis only.
