DNP 7103 Prevention and Population Health II

This course will prepare the DNP student to develop and evaluate approaches to health care delivery that address the needs of various populations with a focus on prevention, quality of health care, diversity and patient safety. In Section II the DNP student will focus on the evaluation of care delivery models using concepts related to community, environmental and occupational health, as well as cultural and socioeconomic dimensions of care. The DNP student will have the opportunity to incorporate strategies that support sensitivity to diverse organizational cultures and populations in the clinical setting. Students will be expected to complete 28 hours of practicum during the course
