MAC 2312 Calculus and Analytic Geometry II

This course is designed for students who plan to major in mathematics, computer science, engineering or natural sciences. Topics include: applications of integration; arc length and volume integrals; L'Hôpital's Rule; techniques of integration such as integration by parts, trigonometric substitution, partial fractions, and rationalizing substitutions; improper integrals; introduction to differential equations; Taylor's Formula; sequences and series; polar coordinates; and parametric equations. This course must be completed with a grade of "C" or higher if used to satisfy General Education course degree and /or certificate requirements.
