THEA 380 Playwriting

We engage our students in Playwriting with the art of writing for the live stage. Through reading scripts by established authors and generating original writing, students develop their dramatic skills and theatrical imaginations. Creative assignments focus on crafting well-developed characters, sound story structures and compelling dialogue. As a final project, each student writes and rewrites a short play. Sophomore standing or permission of instructor required.
