CNSL 520 Professional School Counseling I

This introductory course will focus on the history, foundation, and role of school counselors as advocates and agents of systemic change in schools.  We will focus on school counseling services, equitable practices, and basic concepts related to the organization and operation of school counseling programs, as well as the impact of current pressing educational concerns on the role of school counselors.
